Convert Existing Film to Ultra HD

With large Ultra HD televisions common in consumers' homes now, the demand for Ultra HD content has never been greater. All of that 35mm film is 4K resolution, so converting older film libraries is a fast and inexpensive way to deliver Ultra HD content to consumers! Advanced Light Source

The new Cintel Scanner G3 HDR+ features a completely new high intensity light source and advanced color science for incredibly sharp, high quality images from scanned film even when running at real time speed. The RGB LED grid array illumination source is designed to work with an extremely sensitive imaging sensor and ensures your priceless film is never exposed to unnecessary thermal stress and color fading effects of traditional scanner lamps. Plus, the new light source also provides an additional 3.5 stops of HDR! There’s even a new film inspection mode that allows you to see how the original film actually looks compared to the stunningly beautiful scans the new light source produces.

Create Stunning HDR Images

35mm film has extremely high dynamic range and a native resolution of 4K. Cintel Scanner features a 35mm skid plate, with optional 8mm and 16mm gates purchased separately, for HDR scanning so you can create high dynamic range digital masters with better color, more texture and detail than ever before! This makes it possible to meet the growing demand for 4K HDR content on streaming services such as Netflix, AppleTV, HULU and others. Cintel Scanner is designed to work with DaVinci Resolve Studio, which is included.
