Plugging devices into a network is easy. But controlling those devices on a professional level is not so easy at all. Modern networks and software based workflows demand highly adaptable and network-enabled control that traditional remote control devices simply can not deliver.
Introducting MakePro X! Next Generation Control. The brand new and uniquely modular control ecosystem redefines control for the age of networks. MakePro X unique blend of generic, user-defined tactile control devices combined with a most flexible, open-ended and powerful software (Glue) lets you take control of your networked production and performance setups like never before.
OnAir Solutions is an authorised reseller of MakePro X in Australia. MakePro X can be designed to suit any possible need. But below is a small selection of example configurations that are possible. Visit the MakePro X website for more information, or contact us for a quote.
XTREME-C8
Are you using multiple conventional controllers from multiple brands to control aspects of your live stream? Then you know that many times, such a setup is far from ideal. Not just that it can be quite difficult to make all these components work together, they are also a fragile setup which quickly takes up a whole table. With complicated cabling and a complex setup, such a mix-and-match effort is usually too complicated for rookie operators to manage or for professionals to really focus on their production.
Our XTREME range of control devices allows control of all your streaming facilities on one compact and organized control panel. And because Glue supports many different devices, you can populate your XTREME controller with control of the gear of your choice. And as Glue keeps improving and supporting more and more gear, an XTREME controller will always help you to grow and improve your setup in the future!
XTREME is ideal wherever you want to save space and complexity - may it be fixed installations like corporate environments, churches and theaters as well as in mobile setups where the XTREME-D10 is the perfect solution for control from within a 19” rack. Open the lid and start your stream - only XTREME integration will make that possible.
XCEL-C12
While it is easy to plug devices into your network, it is not so easy to control them. And it is still very difficult or even outright impossible to implement efficient workflows across multiple devices - unless you throw large amounts of money at fully custom software developments.
For many operational problems in broadcasting networks today, XCEL combined with Glue is the answer you may have been waiting for. With its full configurability and multi-protocol / multi-target support, an XCEL controller will let you control YOUR network YOUR way.
Being seamlessly scalable and fully compatible with all other MakePro X control devices, XCEL and Glue also provide you with precious flexibility also on the hardware end. And if you like to have a fully individualized tactile frontend, you can still use our unique online builder to configure and order fully customized tactile control panels! The XCEL family of controllers always supports IP networking and can be optionally equipped with PoE modules for convenient single-cable connections.

Everybody loves the Stream Deck in combination with Companion software and so do we! That's why we created the xTend series of MakePro controllers - professional grade and highly flexible tactile control interfaces - which extend your Stream Deck and Companion setup with Rotary Knobs, motorized Faders, T-Bars, PTZ-Sticks and more. Unhappy to keep using plus/minus or up/down buttons on continuous parameters such as levels and positions? Now you can control continuous parameters the way it should be.
Companion and Glue in concert Like Companion, the Glue software supports multiple input devices and handles many different targets and protocols at the same time. Glue supports a lineup of popular video and audio devices used in streaming and production. For some targets you may prefer to use Glue over Companion simply for its capability to handle continuous parameters providing an improved user interface.
Using Glue and Companion together will get you the best of both systems. In Glue you decide which Stream Deck buttons will be handled by Glue and which buttons will be passed through to Companion. That way, Companion works just the way it always does - plus you have all abilities from Glue on top.
Besides sharing Stream Deck buttons and the ability to trigger/push buttons in Companion from Glue, you can also use tactile encoders to diretcly map to -/+ buttons in Companion. That way you get much improved access to Companion parameters which so far needed repeated button presses. xTend takes your Stream Deck setup to the next level!
XACT-C12
For well over a decade, the Professional Studio market for audio production has been stagnant with respect to control. The choice of control gear today is really quite limited: either you opt for one of the many Mackie Control compatible “MCU” Type controllers - which are all the same rather limited functionality - or you go for a much nicer but proprietary and high-priced product universe with excellent customer retention properties.
With OSC being more and more widely supported (e.g. Logic), MIDI implementations going way beyond the usual (e.c. Cubase 12) and really open and adaptable platforms (e.g. Reaper) it is time for a much more modern and equally open tactile controller family… Glue allows for easy definition of OSC and MIDI based targets as well as advanced and collaborative scripting abilities, such that the future of studio control can become a community thing!
Introducing the XACT scalable studio controller family. And introducing the XCEED with its massive 16-row form factor - being our flagship, scalable in large console format. Now build your studio around a multi-purpose, multi-target true “all things studio” console which is fully open and ready to grow with you wherever you take your career!
