OnAir Solutions has purchased the Australian operations of Sonifex to increase its product distribution and system integration services.
The merger is effective from Tuesday 1st July 2025, doubling the resources of both organisations. OnAir Solutions will move into the existing Sydney office of Sonifex Australia in Hornsby.
Managing Director of OnAir Solutions, Paul Dengate says “I’ve known the Sonifex team for a long time, and this was a perfect fit to grow both businesses. We have a complementary product range, and I am excited to bring on new vendors Nautel, Orban and Tieline, as well as existing shared brands like Sonifex and Inovonics.”
Karen Olliver takes on the position of General Manager for the OnAir Solutions Group, saying “It will be business as usual for clients and suppliers of both businesses. We’ll still be offering the exceptional level of service and support that they’ve come to expect from us while working with a larger group of brands and products.”
Marcus Brooke, Chief Executive Officer of Sonifex Ltd commented “We have worked closely with OnAir Solutions for more than a decade with their projects for ABC and other large broadcasters. I cannot think of a better company to purchase our Australian business operations.”
OnAir Solutions will use the Sonifex Australia trading name for exclusive distribution of Sonifex products. Websites, phone numbers and email contacts will remain the same.
Customers and suppliers will receive more information early next week.
